Hi everyone!  We have been busy beavers as we wind down this mission.  Less than 3 months left and 10 projects in various stages to complete.  Two major ones and 8 local ones.  This will keep us busy until the end...we also hope to submit 2 more projects before next month.

We took this picture a couple of weeks ago of our new investigator, Raymond, from Ghana.  He has a family back in Ghana but is here for business for a couple of months.  We have sent missionaries to his family there.  Our friend, Alan Wade, has a son who is serving in Ghana.

Here is a picture of a tiny frog I almost stepped on.  Had to take a picture then we put him in the grass by the river.

Some of my friends from the International Women's Club of Montenegro.  We were at Natasa's (say Natasha) summer home at Perast.  We had a wonderful lunch and then went out to the island called Lady of the Rock.  

On a P-day this month we drove a couple of hours to the mountains where we could hike all around this beautiful lake.  It was 20 degrees cooler than the city we came from.  Which was a welcome relief.

These large trees had these things growing out of them.  They looked like some weird toadstools or something but they were hard and you couldn't remove them as they were attached firmly.

At this national park, they rent row boats, but we didn't partake as we had just spent more than an hour walking around the lake.  Now, of course, I wish we would have!

This is a new building not too far from our apartment.  We call it the "Cruise Ship" building.  Looks sorta like one, don't you think?

This is the delivery bed (chair) that LDS Charities donated to the hospital in Bar.  They deliver around 700 babies a year there, so we were glad to help. It looks like Russ has on a beard guard but it is only his mask that he took off for the picture.  The tall girl is Rada, our translator here and she is marvelous.  The lady in white is the director of the Maternity Department.

These are Kiwi's growing over a patio, it makes lovely shade.  They also grow grapes this way and other vines.  It is common here to have these patios with 'natural" roofs.

I thought all of the Mesquite Toes should have a chair like this!

We closed on this project for the people who suffer with Multiple Sclerosis and when we went to the directors office she had 3 TV stations, 3 radio stations and 4 newspapers there.  Sheesh, glad we didn't know in advance or I would have been nervous!  I don't think this video is working. :(

The schools here do not have books.  They make the parents buy the books each year (they are workbooks) every child needs workbooks for each class, and each year this well traveled area has people selling books from previous years, right off the sidewalk.  I would like to have stock in this company that prints the workbooks!

 We were interviewed by this news outlet here.  The 4 Elders and us sat around a table and were asked questions about the Church here and our activities.  We hope this is good and the people here will know what we are about.

 This is the Mihajlovic family and my little Primary Children each summer.  They live in Serbia but come each summer to the coast where their grandparents live and they are a super addition of our little group. Brother Mihajlovic is translating the Doctrine and Covenants into Serbian, it is quite a long process.
